A perennial favorite, The Maxwell represents a modern upgrade to the classic bengal stripe, with lightweight yarn-dyed performance fibers for optimal feel in all weather conditions. Our pique knit construction enhances breathability and comfort on hot days.
Finished with our signature structured spread collar, genuine trocas shell buttons, and H&B tailored fit. Style #: HB2007.
After reading about how good these shirts are, I found a local store that had some in stock during a trunk show and decided to try one on for myself. After I tried this shirt on, I could see that the hype is real. The pique knit will certainly keep me cool on the hottest of days on the course, and the collar really is unique and substantially crafted. I can definitely see myself purchasing more. For sizing, while a medium certainly fit me (6', 175lbs, 40R jacket), I opted to go up to a large to give myself a little more room since I'll be wearing this shirt almost exclusively on the golf course. Great work H&B!
Classic polos. This is my 2nd Maxwell and 4th H&B polo overall. Nice pique material, not as thin as some other performance fabrics. Great trim fit too.
I love the look and feel of the shirts. My only negative comment is that they seem to be cut somewhat smaller than the Peter Millar and Johnnie-O golf shirts that I have been buying.
This is my sixth polo from Holderness & Bourne and just like the others, fits and feels great. These are the best polos on the market.
90 plus dollars seems to be the standard with all the brands marketing performance clothing for polos. With that said HB Is the Platinum standard. Great quality, cut and fit is perfect and the collar stands up all day in S Florida heat and humidity. Five Star Polo from HB and I’ve spent a lot of money on all the other brands. RL Polo, Southern Tide, Rhoback, Nike, UA, PM, etc.
