We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant with a strong attention to detail to join our growing Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in most aspects of our financial close. The role will focus on daily and month-end accounting operations, primarily related to cash, revenue and accounts payable.
Responsibilities

General Accounting & Month-End Close

Own significant segments of the monthly and year-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to close timelines

Prepare and post accurate month-end journal entries including accruals and prepaid expenses

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity

Ensure all processes adhere to internal controls and company financial policies

Cash Accounting & Bank Reconciliations

Perform daily cash reconciliations between the bank statements and the General Ledger in SAP S/4HANA
-
Process and record electronic funds transfers (EFTs), wires, and other bank transactions

Investigate and resolve all cash variances and outstanding reconciling items promptly through collaboration with other teams

Ensure accurate recording of revenue from the e-commerce sales channel

Accounts Payable Operations

Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, from vendor invoice receipt and verification to payment processing

Ensure proper coding, approval, and entry of vendor invoices into SAP S/4HANA, paying close attention to cost center and GL account assignment

Process weekly payment runs (ACH/Wire/Check) and manage the related bank interface within the ERP

Maintain accurate vendor master data records in compliance with company policy and tax requirements (e.g., W-9s)

Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally

SAP S/4HANA and System Management

Serve as a key user for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system, particularly for the Finance modules

Assist in the ongoing post-implementation maintenance, testing, and process refinement within the ERP

Maintain documentation for accounting procedures within the new system environment

Qualifications:

Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

2 – 5 years of experience in the accounting field

Demonstrated hands-on experience using a mid-to-enterprise-level ERP system; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or similar is a strong plus

Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

The successful candidate will enjoy a compelling overall compensation package including base salary ranging from $75k - $115k based on experience, with strong potential for future growth.

Location / Travel Requirements
This position will be based at our headquarters at 12 Labriola Court, in Armonk, New York. Limited travel required.
