We’ve always appreciated timeless craftsmanship and dedication to the game. That’s why we jumped at the chance to fly to Fort Worth, Texas, to visit with Christopher Griffin, founder of P53 irons.

Authentic. American. Irons. Those three words are more than just a tagline at P53. This boutique golf hard-goods company makes some of the best bespoke irons in the business, but that’s just scratching the surface of this remarkable company’s story.
P53 irons are crafted, not made. In a world driven by mass production and mass markets, P53 is a rare bird. “We don’t like to make golf clubs that look like they came out of a vending machine,” Christopher said. He and his company are dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind, truly bespoke clubs—the critical 7, 8, 9, and 10 irons, or as P53 calls them, Scoring Irons—each specifically tailored to the individual player’s swing and biometrics. Christopher summed it up perfectly: “Every set is one of one.”

Visiting P53 for a fitting and then spending a day on the course is all it takes to recognize that you’re In Good Company. Their passion for the game, along with their uncompromising focus on excellence, is forged into every club they make.
