We recently traveled to Louisville, KY to sit down with Valhalla Golf Club Head Professional, Kyle Cramer. Kyle spoke with us about hosting the 2024 PGA Championship and detailed the extensive preparation for the year's second major.
Valhalla has hosted four PGA Championships and has been the site of some of the most exciting finishes in tournament history.
The club was founded in 1986 with championships in mind and built to be a pure golf venue. It was purchased in 2022 by local long-time members who wanted to preserve its history and continue to attract majors to Louisville.
From white horse fences and stables to the farmhouse-style renovations, the club is meant to give members and guests a sense of Kentucky when they visit the property.
Kyle and the PGA Championship team have undertaken the largest build-out in PGA Championship history, and we're thrilled for Holderness & Bourne to be in the PGA Merchandise Tent for the first time as an official vendor. We hope you'll swing by Fan Central just left of the 16th fairway if you're at Valhalla next week.
