Look, its hard to get excited about a plain white shirt. A good white shirt, however, is a staple item. Its like buying dress socks, its a necessity every few years. If your "white" shirt has lost its luster, its time to upgrade.
Comfortable cotton pique.
This midweight mostly cotton polo is great for year round casual wear. Not as light as a poly/tech polo and not as heavy as a RL mesh pique polo. Sturdy collar stands up under a jacket. I prefer this to the performance pique for casual wear because it's not shiny and is a little heftier. I'm 6'/185lbs/41R and large fits great. If you think you're in between sizes, size up.
