Bud Cauley, PGA Tour Pro

About Bud

Florida native Bud Cauley’s rise to the professional golf ranks has been nothing short of noteworthy. As an amateur, Bud represented the United States on the Junior Ryder Cup Team in 2006 and the Walker Cup Team in 2009, ultimately reaching the ranking of No. 1 Junior in the world. He went on to play for the University of Alabama golf team, where he earned mantle-worthy accolades each season of his college career there.

Bud earned full-time status on the PGA Tour in 2012 without attending Q-School. He is only one of seven players to earn his card through successful performances from sponsor invites, which is incredibly rare. Of the 28 events Bud competed in during his rookie year on Tour, he finished inside of the Top 25 ten times.

H&B Ambassador Bud Cauley won the 2026 RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley to take home his first PGA Tour victory. Bud’s final round, at 5-under 65 in windy, rainy conditions, saw him finish at 17-under overall—wearing a lucky premium Scottish cashmere sweater from H&B, no less—beating Matt Fitzpatrick by two strokes.

Heading into the final round’s back nine, Bud found himself one shot off the lead. He created the round’s defining moment on the par-4 12th hole, with an odds-beathing chip shot from the opposite greenside rough 90+ feet out for birdie. Additional birdies on the 13th and 15th holes helped Bud pull away from the pack, earning him the RBC Canadian Open trophy.

Congratulations to Bud!
