Summary
Holderness & Bourne, a fast-growing premium men’s golf apparel brand, is seeking an experienced IT professional to direct all aspects of the company’s IT strategy. We believe that efficiency drives growth and recognize that in an increasingly technology-driven world, we need a leader in the space to compete.
Based at our headquarters in Armonk, New York, the Director of IT will report to the founders of the business and work closely with other Directors at the company to architect and manage the company’s IT infrastructure from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, action-oriented, collaborative, and open to differing perspectives while holding a humble confidence in their own skills and judgement.
As the founder of the company’s IT practice, this candidate will have a broad set of responsibilities ranging from tactical (in the trenches) to strategic (on the tower) and a unique opportunity to set the long-term IT vision for the business.
Duties & Responsibilities

Manage company software/IT platforms and work with business leaders to enhance existing systems

Identify and implement new software platforms, including ERP, ecommerce, warehouse management, warehouse automation, digital workspace, business intelligence, and other tools

Monitor the security and continuity of company data, including cybersecurity, network access, and system backups

Provide broad technical support to the company, directly or in partnership with outside vendors, from server and networking equipment to employee hardware

Lead future recruiting, onboarding, and training IT staff

Assist with other duties and projects as required to support the overall business
Required Skills & Experience

Undergraduate degree required, master’s degree in IT/Computer Science preferred, 10+ years of experience in related field

Demonstrated track record of developing and executing on a strategic IT roadmap

Technical and business expertise in ERP, ecommerce, warehouse management, warehouse automation, digital workspace, and business intelligence technologies

Ability to identify and sequence priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Omnichannel retail and/or apparel industry experience is a preferred but not required

Location / Travel Requirements
This position will be based at our headquarters at 12 Labriola Court, in Armonk, New York. Flexibility to work from home as needed from time to time.
